Hey everyone, it’s Christine Seale, the High Level Queen! Are you tired of missing important calls from your clients? Do you want to ensure that your customers know you’ll get back to them, even when you can’t answer the phone? Today, I’m going to show you how to set up an automatic text reply for missed calls in just three simple steps using the powerful Go High Level platform. Let’s dive right in!
For those of you who don’t know, we have an incredible Facebook group called Marketing Agency Automation Secrets where we share free training worth hundreds of dollars every week. Don’t miss out – click the link below to join us!
Step 1: Understanding Call Report Status
The first step is crucial – understanding call report statuses. When someone calls and reaches your voicemail, the call reporting might show it as answered. This can be a little tricky because it affects how the missed call text back works. The Go High Level team is working on a solution for this, but for now, just keep this in mind. Knowing this will help you set up your workflow correctly.
Step 2: Creating a Workflow
Now, let’s create a workflow. This is where the magic happens! Go High Level makes this process seamless.
- Create a Workflow: Head over to your test folder and start a new workflow.
- Select Call Status as Trigger: Search for ‘call status’ and add a filter. Choose ‘incoming call’ direction and set the status to ‘busy,’ ‘no answer,’ or ‘voicemail.’
- Set the Action: Your action will be sending an SMS. Craft a message like, “Hey, sorry I missed your call. We’ll get back to you soon!” You can customize this to fit your business tone and needs. For instance, home services might use, “Hey, it’s noisy at the job site. Let us know what you need, and we’ll get back to you soon.”
Once you’ve saved your workflow, you can even add more fancy filters like specific phone numbers or number pools.
Step 3: Testing Your Workflow
Testing is essential to ensure everything runs smoothly. Here’s how you can do it:
- Call Yourself: Use a Google Voice number to avoid issues if you forward your Go High Level number to your cell phone.
- Check Conversations and DND Status: Make sure your contact isn’t on Do Not Disturb (DND) mode.
- Review History: Use the history to check if everything is set up correctly.
When you call your Go High Level number using your Google Voice number, you should receive the automated text reply. It’s that simple!
Quick Shortcut
If you’re short on time, Go High Level has an even faster way to create this workflow:
- Click on ‘Create on Workflow.’
- Select the ‘Auto Missed Call Text Back’ option.
This slightly more complex version allows you to add delays, assign users, and even tag missed calls. The possibilities are endless!
Why Automate Missed Call Replies?
Automating your missed call replies ensures you never lose business because of a missed call. It keeps your customers informed and shows them that you value their time. In today’s fast-paced world, quick and effective communication can set you apart from the competition.
