Hey guys, what’s up?
It’s Christine Seale.
And in this video, I’m going to show you
guys how to install Google Analytics v.
Four in just six easy steps
into your high level CRM account.
If you don’t already have one, you can get

Let’s get started.
Okay, so you want to log
in to your Google Analytics.
And step one is you’re going to click
on Admin and you’re going to go to
Ga Four, SMTP Assistant.
So this is the first thing
that you need to do.
And then step two, go ahead
and click on Get Started.
And if you already have existing Tags,
you can enable data collection.
But I don’t and it’s currently grayed out.
So if it’s grayed out,
you’re not going to be able to do this.
And then it says here that if you need
to install new Tags on your site,
then basically if you’re not using
Google Tag Manager, you’re going to need
to change the code on your site.
So we’re going to go ahead
and click on Create Property now.
Step three, what you want to do
is set up your data streams.
So you’re going to click on Admin again.
And if you don’t see data streams here,
you probably have the incorrect property.
So I’m going to click on the Ga Fork
property and go to Data Streams
and you’ll see that it automatically
created a data stream for me
when I did the Ga for wizard.
And step four, what you want to do is take
this measurement ID and add it to your
website using Google Tag Manager.
If you’re currently not using
Google Tag Manager on your website,
it’s probably a good time to go ahead
and do that because you’re
already in here upgrading things.
So this will tell you which code to use.
If you’re using Tag Manager,
go through this process.
If you’re using a global site tag,
you’re going to want to add this code
in the Head section of your HTML.
Step five, what you want to do
is go into Google Tag Manager.
If you’re using Google Tag Manager
and click on Tags and create a new tag
in this tag, you want to Select Ga Four
and then paste your measurement ID
into the Measurement ID box.
Go ahead and save it.
And if you want to fire on all pages,
click all pages here and go ahead
and name it Google Analytics Ga Four.
And you can see now
that we have a tag set up.
So we’re going to go ahead and submit
and publish our changes and this is
going to go straight to our website.
now what’s going to happen is you want
to go to your website and test this
to make sure that your
visits are showing up now.
So step six you want to test so go ahead
and go to the website where you have
Google tag manager installed
and then you want to go back into Google
analytics and click on real time
and you should see your view here.
So now that we know that’s working
what we’re going to do finally is go back
into high level into your workflow
and make sure that you Select
Google analytics and then you’re going
to put your tracking ID in this workflow
so here this tracking ID you are going
to want this
and then here in the event category you
can do something like contact
name and then you can do an event action
so you can do like the source if you want
go ahead and save that there
and then you’re going to want to test it.
So you would ideally put this
into an existing workflow that you had
that you wanted to add them
into Google analytics.
This would be super helpful if you had
like an ecommerce site Shopify site you’re
doing abandoned cart
different things like that.
You can pretty much do
anything with the new V four.
That’s why it’s so awesome so I hope this
