Unveiling the New Conversations Tab
First things first, if you haven’t noticed the new checkboxes next to people’s names in the Conversations tab, you need to enable this feature. Here’s how:
- Navigate to Settings: Click on the Settings gear icon and head to Labs.
- Turn on New Features: Ensure both new feature options are toggled to blue.
- Return to Conversations: Go back to the Conversations tab and voilà, the checkboxes are there!
Bulk Actions Made Easy
One of the coolest upgrades is the ability to perform bulk actions. Imagine marking all your conversations as read with just a few clicks! Here’s how:
- Select Conversations: Click the checkboxes next to the conversations you want to modify.
- Choose Action: Click Actions, then select “Mark as Read.” (You can also mark them as unread if needed).
Remember, you can only do up to 100 at a time, so don’t get too carried away! This feature is a game-changer for keeping your inbox organized and ensuring no message goes unnoticed.
Starred Conversations
Need to highlight important conversations? You can now star messages to bring them to your team’s attention. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Star Conversations: Select the conversations and click the star icon.
- Unstar if Needed: If you change your mind, simply unstar them.
This feature ensures that crucial conversations don’t slip through the cracks, helping you stay on top of your game.
Advanced Filtering Options
The new Conversations tab comes with robust filtering options. Whether you need to find unassigned leads or filter by the last message channel, these filters are your new best friend. Here’s how to use them:
- Filter by Assignee: Find unassigned leads quickly.
- Filter by Message Channel: Narrow down conversations by email, SMS, Google My Business, WhatsApp, Facebook, calls, voicemail, and Instagram.
This feature is incredibly handy for managing large volumes of conversations and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Sorting Conversations
You can now sort your conversations based on time, either from oldest to newest or vice versa. This makes it easy to prioritize responses and manage your workflow effectively. Here’s the quick guide:
- Sort by Time: Use the sort button to toggle between latest and oldest conversations.
Clearing Filters
Messed up your filters? No worries! You can clear them in just a few clicks:
- Clear Filters: Click the Filter button, select Clear Filters, and hit Apply.
Your Conversations tab will return to its default view, ready for a fresh start.
