What Are Company Objects?
In the ever-evolving world of digital marketing, keeping track of your contacts and their associations with different companies can be a daunting task. That’s where Company Objects come into play. This powerful feature allows you to map contacts to a new company object, track all activities under one roof, add tasks, and more. Imagine having a streamlined view of everything that’s happening within a company at your fingertips—sounds fantastic, right?
Step 1: Create a Company
First things first, let’s create a company. Navigate to your contacts in Go High Level, and you’ll see a new tab called Company. Click on New Company to get started. Here, you’ll enter the company’s name, phone number, email, website, and a brief description. Don’t forget the address—this ensures your company information is comprehensive.
Pro Tip: If you’re working with test accounts like me, just fill in the details as needed. You can always go back and edit any information later if necessary.
Step 2: Assign Contacts to Your Company
Now that we have our company set up, it’s time to assign contacts to it. This step is crucial for keeping all activities and communications organized. Go to your contacts list, select the contacts you want to assign, and add them to your company. You can do this in bulk, making the process quick and efficient.
Simply click on a contact, select the company you just created, and voilà—they’re now linked. Repeat this for each contact to ensure everyone is accounted for. It’s a seamless way to ensure that all your client interactions are tracked within their respective companies.
Managing Your Company Objects
One of the fantastic things about Go High Level is its flexibility. Made a mistake or need to update something? No problem! You can easily edit your company information. Click on the ellipsis menu next to your company’s name and select Edit Company. You can also delete a company if needed—just be sure you really want to remove it, as this action is permanent.
If you need to remove a contact from a company, head to the Company tab, click on Contacts, and manage your list from there. While you can’t delete contacts directly from the Contacts page, this method ensures you have a clear view of all contacts associated with a company.
