Hey, guys! What’s up? It’s Christine Seale, the High Level Queen, and today is an exciting day because I’m going to show you how to use the brand-new Go High Level sidebar and where all your old stuff went as well. So, let’s get started!
For those of you who don’t know, we have an incredible free Facebook group called Marketing Agency Automation Secrets, where we give away hundreds of dollars in free training every single week to our members. So click the link below to check that out!
Now, let’s dive into the new High Level sidebar. There are some features you won’t have access to if you don’t turn on the new sidebar, like the search bar where you can search for contacts, opportunity cards, and add new ones. Plus, all the products in the payments tab won’t be accessible either. There’s a lot of new features you’re missing out on, so let’s explore how to access and utilize them.
New Sidebar Overview
To play with the new sidebar before giving it to your clients, go to your agency settings, scroll to the bottom of the page, and you’ll see three options: optional, mandatory new sidebar upgrade, and mandatory old sidebar downgrade. Choose the one that suits you best. Personally, I’ll show you how to switch to the new sidebar.
When you switch, you’ll notice things look totally different. Your dropdown for your account has moved, the dashboard, conversations, and calendars are still here but have new positions. The calendars tab used to be appointments and is now simply called calendars.
Payments Tab
One of the significant changes is the payments tab. This feature now allows you to create, remove, and search for products in all of your funnels. If you’re dealing with digital products, this is a game-changer. You can do a full or partial search, import products from Stripe, create new products, and manage your integrations all in one place.
Email Marketing
The email marketing tab has moved out from under the marketing section and now stands alone. This is where you can modify all of your fancy email templates. It’s a small change but makes navigating and organizing your email campaigns much easier.
Automation
Next up is the automation tab, which combines workflows, campaigns, and triggers into one streamlined section. Previously, these features were scattered across different tabs, but now they’re all in one place. This change makes it significantly easier to set up and manage your automation processes.
Sites Tab
The Sites tab houses all of your funnels, websites, memberships, forms, surveys, chat widget, media, and URL redirects. Having all of these under one dropdown menu makes it so much easier to find and manage your web assets.
Reputation & Reporting
Not much has changed in the reputation and reporting sections. Reputation management is still the same, and reporting includes all your call and appointment reporting. However, there’s a neat new feature in the reporting section where recent activities are displayed, giving you quick access to your latest data.
Settings
Your settings are now at the bottom, offering a few new options. One of them is company billing, which ensures that if your client’s wallet balance is exceeded, all communications will be shut down to prevent racking up a bill. This feature is super helpful for managing finances.
Quick Action Button
Another new addition is the quick action button. It lets you add a contact, create an appointment, send a review request, or create an opportunity all from one place. This consolidation of functions saves time and makes the interface more intuitive.
Universal Search Bar
My favorite new feature is the universal search bar. You can search for contacts, opportunities, and payments all in one place. If you need to add an opportunity or a contact that doesn’t exist, you can do it directly from the search results. This feature wasn’t available in the old sidebar and adds a level of convenience we didn’t have before.
Company Level Sidebar
At the company level, the new sidebar is more similar to the old menu but looks different. You’ll find your profile, company settings, team settings, billing settings, snapshots, and more on the left side instead of the top. New features include the ability to disable the launchpad for locations and access to audit logs, which track changes made by users.
I hope this helps you guys get the most out of the new High Level sidebar. Let me know in the comments what your favorite part about this new menu is. Don’t forget to like and subscribe so you don’t miss any future videos from me. Get your free trial here and I’ll see you next time!
