Hey there, digital marketers and automation enthusiasts! It’s Christine Seale, the High Level Queen. If you’re here, you’re probably looking to elevate your Facebook engagement without the hassle of ManyChat. Well, you’re in luck! In my latest video, I break down exactly how you can create a Facebook comment reply bot using the all-in-one CRM platform, Go High Level. Say goodbye to missed opportunities and hello to streamlined automation. Let’s dive into this fun and energetic guide that will transform the way you handle your Facebook interactions!
Step 1: Setting Up Go High Level
First things first, you need to sign up for a free trial of Go High Level. This platform is a game-changer, offering everything from two-way SMS and email to Facebook and Instagram integration, auto comment replies, AI-powered social media posting, and much more. Once you’ve got your account set up, head over to the settings and click on Integrations. Here, you’ll ensure your Facebook connection is active. If it’s not, just hit Connect and select the Facebook pages you want to integrate. Pro tip: Select all your pages to avoid any hiccups down the road.
Step 2: Creating a Marketing Workflow
Now that your Facebook is connected, it’s time to create a marketing workflow. This is where the magic happens! Click on Marketing Workflows, then Create Recipe. Choose the Facebook Comment automation recipe. This nifty feature will do the heavy lifting for you, setting up triggers for Facebook comments on your posts. Whether it’s asking for a guide or a checklist, this bot will respond seamlessly.
Step 3: Configuring Triggers and Filters
Next, we configure our triggers and filters. Select the Facebook page and specify the trigger phrases, like “guide” or “checklist.” You can decide whether to apply this to specific posts or all posts. If you choose specific posts, remember you’ll need to create a new trigger for each one. To keep things tidy, make sure to track first-level comments only—this prevents the bot from going haywire on every nested comment.
Step 4: Setting Up Actions
Finally, we set up our actions. The recipe starts with responding to comments directly. For instance, if someone types “checklist,” the bot will reply with, “Hey, check your DM. Thanks for showing interest.” This not only engages your audience but also prompts them to check their messages. It’s crucial to vary these responses to avoid getting flagged by Facebook. Additionally, you can set the bot to like comments automatically.
After the initial comment response, we need to send a direct message. Craft your message to be personal and engaging, using contact names where possible. Include action buttons if they’re relevant, but feel free to remove them if they’re not necessary. Save your settings, publish, and then test the bot to ensure it works as expected.
Troubleshooting MiniChat Integrations
If you’ve used ManyChat in the past, you might need to untangle it from your Facebook settings. Go to your Facebook page settings, click on Advanced Messaging, and adjust your primary receiver settings. Set Lead Connector as your primary and secondary receiver. If problems persist, remove ManyChat permissions entirely.
And there you have it! A fully functional Facebook comment reply bot without ManyChat, all thanks to Go High Level. This setup not only saves you time but also keeps your audience engaged and satisfied.
