I’m going to show you an easy way to do GoHighLevel prospecting and how to fully automate your outreach. This’ll save you a ton of time and money and get your phone ringing on autopilot.

Step One: Import List with Tag
Get your lead list into CSV format. You can get this from several different places, such as Groupon. You could hire someone on Fiverr to scrape a list for you. Either way, do that and get your list in the CSV format. You’re going to import this list into GoHighLevel.
Go to Contacts / Smart lists and click on Import Contacts. Click Select File and find and click the CSV file. Then you’re going to see the fields mapped here. It should do a pretty good job of automatically mapping those.
If you have other data that you want to import, you’ll have to add a custom field.
Click Continue and it’ll show that some of these don’t have phone numbers, which is going to be an issue. Your list needs to have phone numbers because we’re going to do some voicemail drops.
Go ahead and import this. I always like to add the date, but this is a much easier way to do it than my last video, which I did over a year ago.
Clear the filters and refresh to get your list to show up. It should start importing.
Step Two: Record VM
Next step in your GoHighLevel prospecting! While it’s importing, it’s time to record your voicemail. For voicemail, I use my voice recorder on my phone. If you have an iPhone or Android, it’ll have a free voice recorder.
So, record your voicemail and I say something like, “Hey, it’s Christine and I’m looking for someone in your area who can handle 20 to 30 new clients or patients every single month.
We need a business and (then insert niche) right now. Who can take on that many clients? If that’s you, then give me a call back at this number,” and then say the number.
Step Three: Convert VM to 8,000Hz
Next, we’re going to convert the voicemail to be able to do the voicemail drop without errors.
I’m using a free programme called Audacity – you can stop and download it from their website if you don’t already have it.
Open the file that you just recorded on your phone (you can email it to yourself beforehand to get it from your phone to your computer). It should be an M4A file.
Then go to Project Rate (Hz) and click it down to 8,000. This is super important to do. This way, you won’t have as many errors, and you won’t get the weird thing that happens where their phone starts ringing and they answer it, and then either no one is there or the voicemail starts playing to a live person. You don’t want that, so make sure that you do this conversion.
Then click on Tracks > Resample. Make sure it says 8,000 and click OK.
It’s going to look like it took away some data. Play it to check what it sounds like.
Next, export as a WAV and change the Encoding to U-Law. Name the file “voicemail” and save it. Then select to replace and click OK.
Now that’s done.
Step Four: Create Campaign with Stop on Response turned on
Now the fun part. We’re going to create a campaign to drop all these people into.
Click on “Create a campaign” and click “Add Event”.
This step is totally optional. Add a manual call to add them into the power dialer first. That way, if you want to automatically call everyone back without having to dial the number, you can do that.
Make sure “Stop on responses” is turned on in Campaign settings. That way, if you do this first manual call step in the power dialer and then answer the phone, it will not do the voicemail drop. You don’t want that.
Click “Add Event” and then click “voicemail” here. This is where you upload your compressed WAV file.
There’s a warning here that says, “Voicemail drops are a best attempt system and work roughly 70% of the time.”
And I already showed you how to compress it to make sure that it’s the best possible.
Then click Draft > Published to turn this on.
Now you’ve done the hard part.
Step Five: Select in Smart List and Add to Campaign
Next, we’ll add all of our contacts into this campaign, and this is so much easier than the first time I showed you.
Select all the records. I only have 12, but if you have multiple pages, it’ll say, “check all of them”, so you want to make sure you do that to select all of them.
Then to add them into a campaign – it’s the little robot icon. Select your new power dialer.
Now this is the fun part.
Select “Add in drip mode” and select it to start now.
Batch quantity – I’m going to put 10 here. I want 10 in each batch because they’ll start calling you back. And when they call you back, you don’t want to get like a hundred phone calls at the same time. So if you do any more than 10, you’re going to start getting overwhelmed with the amount of calls that you have to do.
I’m going to turn it off on the weekends, and I’m going to make it start from 8:00am until 1:00pm.
Then select “Add to Campaign.” Now, what that did was our drip list.
Step Six: Check Campaign
I had to wait a minute because I selected a time in the future.
So now when you click on a contact, it should say that it added them into this campaign.
How we can check that is we can go over into Campaigns and you can see a number here.
Click the number and you’ll see what it looks like.
Step Seven: Let’s Start GoHighLevel prospecting!
Go to Manual Actions and then you can see that it added everyone into this power dialer.
Now, all you have to do is click “Let’s start” and it’ll automatically start calling everyone, and then if they don’t answer, it’s going to drop the voicemail.
Then click Next, and then it’ll call the next person.
I don’t have a Twilio number on this account because I didn’t actually want to call people, but that’s how it works.
So, you can see here that if you are sending with a frequency of 30 seconds to a minute, you can send a thousand messages per minute. Frequencies of five minutes, you can send 4,999 messages per minute. Frequencies of six minutes to ten minutes – 5,000 messages per minute. And frequencies of above 10 minutes – 10,000 messages per minute.
